Holly Hamel has been practicing pilates since 2004. She earned her CTTC though Body Arts and Science International (BASI) working directly with world renowned Pilates Master, Rael Isacowitz. Since then, she has received her Mentor and Master Certificates through BASI. She has completed continuing education courses including Learn from the Leaders, Injures and Pathologies, Pilates for the Mature Client, and Pilates for Auto-Immune Disorders. She has worked closely with a variety of Pilates professionals and has been successfully teaching both mat and apparatus Pilates since certification. She currently offers private, semi-private, and small group sessions out of her studio in Laguna Niguel, CA. Holly is a busy wife and mother to 2 beautiful children and loves the flexibility her studio brings to balancing out work and family. When not in the studio you can find Holly routing on her kids' in their sports whether on the football field, basketball court or in a dance studio. She also loves reading, the outdoors, and serving in her local Christian church.
Amelia Claud is an Orange County native with a love for creative movement. She has an athletic mindset, competing in several sports including gymnastics, diving, and then track and field in college. Since then, she has graduated with a Kinesiology degree from PLNU, and gained well over 7 years of experience as a Physical Therapy Aide at LOR Physical Therapy. It was here that she was introduced to the rehab benefits of pilates and developed a passion for patient care. She received her certification from BASI’s Comprehensive Program in 2021 and is looking forward to working with those in physical therapy, athletes, and pilates enthusiasts alike. When she’s not in the studio, you can find Amelia at your local coffee shop, exploring new restaurants with friends and family, or cheering on the Kansas City Chiefs!
Christine Montanari started practicing The Pilates Method after recovering from a neck injury in 2012 and knew Pilates was a lifelong fitness program to stay strong and mobile. She started Pilates Teacher Training from Pure Pilates in 2015 and also completed the Comprehensive Program from Body Arts and Science International (BASI) in 2018. Christine loves to take advanced courses to evolve and grow. Christine has always had a passion to help others. In addition to a Pilates Instructor; she has been a Licensed Massage Therapist since 2003; a Craniosacral Practitioner and a Usui Holy Fire Reiki Master with other healing modalities to complement her mind, body, and spirit approach with her clients. To deepen her understanding of fitness she is also a certified Personal Trainer from The American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) since 2017 and has extensive continued education of aquatic therapy from Aquatic Therapy Rehabilitation Institute (ATRI). Christine loves integrating all her skills to empower, strengthen, and motivate others in all her sessions.
Jennifer Gehring discovered Pilates in 2015 when a back injury stopped her from enjoying regular activities. Pilates helped her rehabilitate, coming back stronger than ever. Having experienced the transformative power of Pilates, Jenn wanted to dive deeper into the practice and share its benefits with others. In 2023, she completed the BASI Comprehensive Program and was personally selected by Rael Isacowitz to join the BASI Pilates Academy team at their headquarters in Newport Beach. As an instructor, she focuses on listening to the client’s goals, understanding potential limitations and creating a challenging yet fun session leading to increased core strength, improved posture, enhanced flexibility, muscle balance and mind-body awareness. Before becoming a Pilates instructor, Jenn was a real estate agent for 18 years in her home state of Texas. She graduated from the University of Houston, summa cum laude, with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, Minor in Health. Her most important and fulfilling role has been raising her two sons.
Outside the studio, you’ll find her playing tennis, enjoying her succulent garden and discovering new trails with her Cavalier pup, Maya.
